Donations & estates
To realise our mission, The Upper Canada historical society utilises donations from its members, whether it be monetary contributions or Material donations.
The Upper Canada historical society is accredited by Revenu Canada to issue tax receipts for donations (under the name Société d'histoire du Bas-Canada only).
The Upper Canada historical society can assist you in evaluating your items. The evaluation of items can be done several ways and do take some time to complete. Once the evaluation is completed you will receive a tax receipt for the market value of your item or items.
Do you have items that have a monetary value that you wish to donate, the Upper Canada historical society can help you with the following:
